Everything feeds from one health profile

In most health apps the features are strangers to one another. The calorie counter has no idea what you have been prescribed, the reminder app cannot see what you ate, and the lab record knows about neither. What you end up with is a stack of screens that all belong to you and never once compare notes.

Vitonella is built on a single profile: your age, weight, chronic conditions, medications, meal and sleep times, preferred cuisine and goal. Every feature reads that profile before it acts. Add a medication and the list is not the only thing that grows — your hydration target is recalculated, meal suggestions are filtered against that drug’s food interactions, and the dosing lines in your plan are rewritten.

So judge the features by how they connect, not by how they read one at a time. What sets Vitonella apart is not the length of the list but what happens between the items on it.

    Drug Interactions

    Your medication list is reduced to active ingredients and checked against a compiled interaction database. A deterministic query produces the result, not a language model, so the same list gives the same answer every time. Each alert is graded on one of four severity levels and comes with the mechanism behind it and the way it can be managed.

    Food Interactions

    Marks the food and drink that can alter how your medication behaves: grapefruit, caffeine, dairy, liquorice, vitamin-K-rich greens and alcohol. What it finds reaches your meal plan as well, so a clashing meal is never put in front of you in the first place and you are not left to catch it afterwards.

    AI Health Assistant

    Ask whatever is on your mind about your medicines, your meals or how you are feeling. What comes back is not a generic health article: the assistant reads your medication list, your chronic conditions and that day’s plan before it answers. Ask whether you can take a particular painkiller and it answers knowing your own prescription.

    Medication Tracking

    Every dose, every milligram and every hour gathered in one place. Reminders are set around when you wake and when you eat: a medicine that needs an empty stomach is scheduled before breakfast, one that needs food is shown alongside the meal. Tick a dose off and your streak moves on by one.

    Smart Camera

    Hold your phone over the plate and you get an estimate of what you are eating. It arrives with a portion size and a macro breakdown, and you can correct it if it is off. Made for people who would rather not count calories but still want a rough idea of what they had.

    Daily plans are built from your goal, your health conditions and the food you genuinely eat. You choose the cuisine — Turkish, Mediterranean, East Asian — and the plan is prepared from that kitchen. Swap out a meal you do not fancy and the balance of the day still holds.

    Calories are only one of the numbers worth watching. The plan weighs protein, fibre, micronutrients and meal timing together, and where you know your iron, B12, vitamin D or potassium, the suggestions follow those figures.

    A supplement is a medicine too. What you take is assessed alongside your prescriptions, and the daily requirement analysis shows where you fall short and where you go over. If the same substance reaches you from two different products, that overlap is marked.

    Upload your blood test and your values are explained in plain language, set against their reference ranges. You can also see how they have moved over time. No diagnosis is offered: you are shown which value sits outside its range and what is worth raising with your doctor.

    Add your conditions to your profile and let meals, reminders and alerts follow them. Seventy-eight conditions are defined: chronic ones run until you close them, acute ones expire, and special periods such as pregnancy and breastfeeding keep their own calendar. When one runs out the app does not quietly drop it — it asks.

    Diabetes, hypertension, thyroid, PCOS, pregnancy, breastfeeding, plant-based eating, fasting, giving up smoking and more. Opening a programme is not the same as moving to another app; it changes the daily shape of the plan you already have — which meal, which hour, which alert.

    The week ahead laid out in front of you: meals, doses, movement and whatever needs preparing in advance. At the end of it you get a summary of how much of the plan you actually kept. Looking at a week shows you something a single day cannot — where you slip only becomes clear in the pattern.

    Separate streaks are kept for water, nutrition, exercise, medication and sleep. When life gets in the way you can freeze one; freezes are limited, but missing a single day does not wipe out a month of effort. The aim is not a flawless week — it is keeping the habit alive.

The core

How the interaction check works

When you enter your medications, each one is reduced to its active ingredient. Two products sold under different names can carry the same molecule, so the comparison runs on the ingredient rather than the brand. Otherwise the double-dose risk facing someone who takes one substance under two names would never surface.

Ingredient pairs are then checked against an interaction database compiled under pharmacist supervision. No language model runs at this stage; the query is deterministic, so the same list of medicines returns the same answer every time. Findings are graded across four levels of severity — contraindicated, major, moderate and minor — and every alert carries both the mechanism behind it and the way it can be managed.

The same engine sweeps for food interactions. Known triggers such as grapefruit, caffeine, dairy, liquorice, vitamin-K-rich greens and alcohol are matched against your list, and what comes back reaches your meal plan: a meal that clashes with your medication simply never gets suggested.

Honest limits

What Vitonella does not do

Vitonella does not diagnose, prescribe, adjust doses or manage your treatment. Reading your results, it will not name a condition; it shows which value falls outside its reference range and marks what is worth raising with your doctor.

The interaction database is broad, but it does not cover every drug, every supplement and every herbal product. The absence of an alert does not mean the absence of an interaction. The reverse holds too: an alert is not a reason to stop taking something, because most interactions are handled by adjusting timing or dose, and that call belongs to your doctor.

AI works in planning and in conversation; it does not work in safety alerts. We drew that line deliberately — a model where flexibility helps, a rule where certainty is required.
