FAQ
Questions, answered
What is Vitonella?
Vitonella is a personalised health platform. It gathers your medicines, meals, lab results and habits into a single profile and builds a daily plan on top of them. The difference lies there: these parts know one another. Add a medicine to your list and the list is not all that changes — your hydration target, your meal suggestions and your alerts change with it. It runs as a mobile app and on the web, on the same account.
Is there a free plan?
There is. The free plan covers the basics: drug–drug interaction alerts, water and habit tracking, one lab record and five photo meal analyses a month. Safety alerts are never paid for; the interaction check runs on the free plan too, because whether someone can take their medicine safely cannot depend on whether they paid. Plus and Pro add AI-assisted planning, detailed reports and priority support. Current prices, in your own currency, are on the pricing page.
How does the interaction check work?
Your list is first reduced to active ingredients; two medicines sold under different names can carry the same molecule, so the comparison never runs on brand names. Ingredient pairs are then checked against a compiled interaction database. No language model runs at this stage: the query is deterministic, so the same list returns the same result every time. Findings are graded across four severity levels, and each alert states why it arises and how it can be managed. Vitonella informs you; it does not decide for you.
Does Vitonella give medical advice?
No. Vitonella does not take the place of a doctor or a pharmacist; it does not diagnose, prescribe or change doses. Its job is to organise information and mark what is worth asking about: which lab value sits outside its reference range, which medicine clashes with which food, which question belongs in your next appointment. No alert does not prove there is no interaction, and an alert does not mean you should stop taking something. Always speak to a health professional before you change anything in your treatment.
Is my health data safe?
Your health data is stored encrypted and is never sold to third parties under any circumstances. The infrastructure complies with GDPR and KVKK. You can export your data whenever you like, and you can permanently delete your account along with everything attached to it — health records, plans, chat history. Deletion cannot be undone, and it genuinely deletes.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel from your subscription page whenever you like, with no penalty and no additional charge. Your paid features stay open until the end of the period you have already paid for; on that date the account returns to the free plan and none of your data is removed. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are cancelled in those stores’ own settings — that is their rule, and Vitonella cannot cancel on their behalf.
Which languages are supported?
Twelve languages are supported: Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Persian, Chinese and Japanese. In Arabic and Persian the interface runs right to left, and Persian is set in its own letters (ک, ی) and its own numerals rather than being treated as a variant of Arabic. The language you choose settles more than the interface: it also decides the language of your plans, your AI notes and your notifications.
Should I use the web or the app?
The two share the same account and the same data; a dose you tick off on your phone shows as ticked on the web. The web suits desk work better: reading reports, going back through lab history, editing profile and plan settings, writing at length. Some things need the phone — photographing a meal, receiving a reminder as a notification, location and sensor data. The web does not pretend to have them; it leaves an “open in the app” pointer on the screen concerned.
